MAY 18, 2009:
NEW ALBUM PREMIERES!
On May 13-14 (following a week of intensive rehearsals in Indianapolis), THE ELMS held two private, invite-only showcases to allow approximately 200 members of the Indiana press and media to preview tracks from the band's forthcoming new album.

At the showcases, held at Indianapolis' famed Music Mill Theatre, THE ELMS performed several new songs live, as well as let the audience listen to recorded tracks off the album following their short sets. Early press reports show an unbelievably enthusiastic reception to the new music, with subsequent press commentary including the following words about the new music:

"...Each track boasted a melody to rival the work of Tom Petty, grit suggestive of the Rolling Stones and hardscrabble storytelling reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen."
-Indianapolis Star

"Balancing just the right amount of righteousness with anthemic energy, it has potential to be a stadium stopper when (it shouldn’t be if) The Elms reach those heights." -Nuvo Newsweekly
